Deflazacort Tablets

Deflazacort Tablets is intended to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy which is a chronic condition wherein the muscles do not operate normally, in adults and children aged 2 and up. Deflazacort belongs to the corticosteroid family of drugs. It functions by reducing inflammation, swelling and altering the function of the immune systems. If a person is unable to swallow the tablet whole, they should crumble it and blend it with a liquid however, the mixture must be consumed instantly.
